Terms of usage
1) Users registered with FemmeFest Forums do
so at their own risk and meet up with one another at their own risk. The
FemmeFest Management will not be responsible for death, injury, losses and
damages arising from usage of the forums.
2) Advertising on FemmeFest via the following avenues is not allowed:
a) Nickname, profile details, signature, profile picture, avatar of forum
user representing company’s details/logo, product, service, advertisement.
b) Private messaging or e-mailing users promoting a product, service or
advertisement.
3) Advertising of products for the sake of individual commercial benefit or
to deceive (e.g. spam, fraud) is not allowed. For legitimate interests in
advertising, users are encouraged to contact the forum administrators
directly to work out a beneficial and credible means of advertising.
4) Pornography (sexually explicit content), obscenity, trolling and abusive
language with the intention to hurt and/or defame and/or bring an individual
or organisation into disrepute, and also with the intent to deceive, are not
allowed on the forum, in the form of:
a) Nickname, profile
details, signature, avatar, profile picture;
b) Private messaging, emailing;
c) Cloning, masquerading as someone else
5) The posting of links to other forums and websites that facilitate the
infringement of intellectual property rights and copyright laws is not
allowed on the forum. The failure to comply may result in the user being
banned permanently or temporarily from the forum.
6) Should the offence infringe the laws of the state, the user and his/her
details will be handed over to the relevant authorities.
7) In the event that a user posts unfound claims that are potentially
defamatory (especially with or without the intention to cause injury to the
reputation to another individual or an organisation) and when it is
contested, privately or publically, the originator of the post will be given
5 days to prove that the statements are correct and truthful. Otherwise, the
post will be removed. If there is a repeat offence in which a post is
challenged and the originator being unable to authenticate or verify the
facts of his/her statement, the originator's account will be banned.
For users who have been wronged/abused by statements made by another person,
they may choose to settle it privately with that person.
For users who have been wronged/abused by statements made by another person
and do not wish to approach that person. This is what they can do:
a) Report the post (with link) to content(@)femmefest.com;
b) The FemmeFest content management team will look into
the matter and send a request for verification of the statements made by the
accused party;
c) If the accused party is unable to reply or prove the
statement is true, his/her post will be removed for the 1st offence and
his/her account will be banned for the
2nd offence;
d) The user who has been wronged/abused by the
statements need not do anything to prove that the statements are wrong, but
it is the responsibility of the
originator of the post to prove
that the statements are correct.
8) The forum content management team reserves the right, for the well-being
of the forum and its content management, with respect to the above-mentioned
rules, to do the following:
a) Edit users’ profiles / Ban users
b) Edit/delete posts and threads
The “terms of usage” notice will be updated as and when necessary.
